Gambling at last spot provides you an idea where you are positioned by watching how other players carry oneself and wager. On the flip side, gamblers at early position can use their poker position to check-raise the late seated competitors and corner them later at the end. In Texas Holdem, each spots, last and early should be played cautiously.
