Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the west in a great game for beginning level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the casino, not like most other poker games that players bet against other players. By playing against the dealer, starting players don’t need to fret about any other, more skillful gamblers winning their cash.
An additional Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game play, newcomers should be able to take their time and plan while not needing to make frenzied selections.
It is also simpler to bet on for an extended time with only a small amount of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands must be under both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is dealt 7 cards face up and the house is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
