Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the west in an excellent game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the dealer, unlike the majority of other poker games that players wager with other players. By betting against the dealer, beginning players do not have to fret about any other, more advanced people winning their $$$$.
An additional Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game pace, rookies can take their time and plan without needing to make frenzied choices.
It’s also simpler to wager on for an extended time with basically a little amount of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands must be under both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the dealer receives seven cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a two card hand need to be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
