A handful of poker tactics will surprise you with their ease. This is one of them. Note your outcomes, each and every time you bet.

Cathedral of hold’em Verse #4:

Thou have to record your wins and thy squanders; for it is the sum total of all a persons accomplishments which generate his or her bottom line.

How detailed is your decision. I usually think that hourly info and that kind of personal information is wasted. Basically work out how far up you are and what amount (if any) you have withdrawn. Certainly, if you do not win, record that too, regardless of how much it hurts.

Don’t overlook to record what type of game you are wagering on, if that’s important to you. (In my experience, most players hold to what they know and do not experiment. If all you do is keep winnings, loses and withdrawals, you’re way in front of a majority of gamblers out there!)

Give yourself actual goals, such as a ‘dream’ goal (new auto, get-a-way or anything else). When you withdraw, add the $$$$$ taken out to your dream tally. The more prosperous you are, the closer that goal will get!
